Securing your account
Manage your password, two-factor authentication, and passkeys from Security.
Change your password
- Sign in to the cloudnumbering portal.
- Go to Account Settings (the gear icon) > Security.
- Under Password, select Change Password.
- Enter your current password and a new password that meets the displayed requirements.
- Select Change Password.
Enable two-factor authentication
- Under Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP), select Enable 2FA.
- Confirm your password or use an available passkey, then select Continue.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
- If you cannot scan it, enter the displayed key in the authenticator app.
- Select I've Added the Code.
- Enter the six-digit code from the authenticator app.
- Select Verify and Enable.
- On the Two-Factor Authentication Enabled! panel, select Done.
Warning: Keep access to the authenticator app. Disabling 2FA later requires password or passkey verification.
Add a passkey
- Under Passkeys, select Manage Passkeys.
- Select Add New Passkey.
- Follow your browser or device prompt.
- To give the new passkey a recognizable name, select Edit on its row, enter the name, and save it.
Remove a passkey
Warning: Deleting a passkey takes effect immediately — the portal does not ask for confirmation.
- Go to Security > Passkeys.
- Check that you have another way to sign in.
- Find the passkey you no longer use and select Delete.
What happens next
Return to Security to check whether 2FA is Enabled and how many passkeys are active. Test a new sign-in method before removing the old one.
Troubleshooting
My authenticator code is rejected. Use the newest code and check that your device time is set automatically. If setup is still open, return to the QR-code step and add the account again.
My browser says passkeys are not supported. Use a current browser and a device or security key that supports passkeys. You can continue to use your password and 2FA.
I cannot change my password. Check the current password and every requirement shown for the new password. If you cannot sign in with the current password, use the password-reset flow instead.
I lost access to my authenticator or passkey. Try another configured sign-in method. If none is available, contact support from your registered account email and ask for the approved account-recovery process.
