Setting up low-balance email alerts
Low-balance email alerts send a daily email while your cloudnumbering balance is below the threshold you choose. Alerts do not add funds or charge a card — for that, see Setting up automatic card top-ups.
Turn on balance alerts
- Sign in to the cloudnumbering portal.
- Go to Account Settings (the gear icon) > Notification Settings.
- Find the Low-balance alerts card.
- Turn on Low-balance alerts.
- Enter the balance threshold in Email me when my balance is below. The threshold must be above zero.
- Check the recipients shown in Send to, and edit them if the alerts should go to someone else.
- Select Save balance alerts.
Change or stop alerts
To change the alert level or recipients, return to Notification Settings, update the settings, and select Save balance alerts.
To stop low-balance alerts, turn off Low-balance alerts and save the setting.
What happens next
cloudnumbering checks your balance once a day. While it is below your threshold, it sends at most one alert a day to the recipients shown on the settings page.
Tip: Top up before your balance reaches zero to avoid service disruption.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive an alert. Check that Low-balance alerts is turned on, the threshold is above your current balance, and the recipients under Send to are correct.
The alert is going to the wrong person. Edit the recipients in Send to on Notification Settings, then select Save balance alerts.
I need alerts to trigger immediately. Alerts are sent once a day, not in real time when your balance crosses the threshold.
