What number formats does cloudnumbering support?
We support a range of number formats and allow for prefixing in case porting or routing prefixes are required.
How do I configure different number formats?
Within the endpoint it is possible to use a range of variables to automatically send a specific number format. Currently available formats are listed below.
%e164: E.164 format e.g. +447777123456
%e164noplus: E.164 format with the leading plus e.g 447777123456
%national: National format e.g. 07777123456
%raw: Number as received (this could vary depending on network) e.g. 7777123456
This can be used in the endpoint creation as shown below in the Hostname field.
How do I configure a prefix when routing to an endpoint?
When configuring an endpoint it is possible to add a static prefix to all voice calls sent to this endpoint as shown below in the Hostname field. The number send to your platform will be formatted with the static prefix followed by the variable used.
