Receiving Inbound SMS over HTTPs

To receive inbound SMS from cloudnumbering you will require a URL that has a valid certificate applied. We will only send SMS to HTTPs endpoints with valid certificates to ensure encryption is applied and SMS cannot be intercepted. 

Configuring an Endpoint

An endpoint can be configured through the Portal or through the API. If you have few endpoints it may be easiest to configure through the Portal, if you are configuring a custom endpoint frequently this may be best done through the API. Below we show how to configure an endpoint through the Portal for use. 

Access the endpoint configured in the Portal through the Endpoints tab.

Setup your endpoint for where you expect to receive SMS. We recommend when setting up your first endpoint to set it as default, by setting a default endpoint it will ensure this is automatically applied to any newly purchased numbers.

Receiving SMS

At the URL defined in the endpoint you will require to configure an HTTP listener that will receive requests via HTTPs.
